Scouting around the web, I find there are few places that folks talk about backcountry riding and packing. glad I found this place. I'm, a 36 year old hustband and father of 3 girls who grew up on our family dairy ranch in Northern California.
I work as an animal nutritionist for a local feed company. Our three horses get used for ranch work with cattle and trail rides when time permits.
I spent summers in college as a packer and guide in Idaho and Oregon. Just about every Fall I get into the mountains of western Wyoming for an Elk or deer hunt.
I'd love to chat with some fellow packers who hit the high country in the Fall. There are some Wilderness Areas in CO and UT that have piqued my interest.

My wife and her 20 YO QH Candy

I have a few others from Wyoming complete with dead critters...i'll hold off unless foks wanna see 'em |
